The project involved: |
| |
Learning about the science behind how kites fly |
| |
Learning about kite designs from countries around the world |
| |
Learning how to draw, design and makeg their own individual kites |
| |
Learn to put the theory into practise at a kite flying day. |

The children's designs were transposed onto kite-shaped boards and installated within the school grounds of both schools as outdoor sculpture. This has created a visual link between the two schools and will help to create an easier transition when pupils move between the two schools. |
