| Project Overview |
I was commissioned to work with a youth group located in a strongly Catholic Irish neighbourhood to create a walking float to lead the Manchester St Patrick's day parade. |
| Project Details |
I collaborated with artist Jo Gornall to create the different elements of costume, hats and scooters. During workshops the youth group designed and made their own T-shirts, hats and scooters reflecting the Irish culture and heritage. The costume designs were interpreted and made by a professional costume maker. |
