| Project Overview |
I was commissioned to work with HIgher Level Trust - a national charity helping adults live with drugs and alcohol issues. We planned a sculpture project to make plaques for the garden area of the charity house they were all living in. |
| Project Details |
I worked with 5 adults over 6 workshops to plan, design and cast their ideas. The workshops began with drawing, design and discussion about the images and how they would work with the casting technique. This was followed with modelling the idea in clay after which we made a Plaster of Paris cast. After taking out the clay we carefully filled it with a special cement fondue mix. After the cement had cured we took off the plaster to reveal the finished plaques. |
